Well Steelwing was the first band I saw at the Rock The Nation tour.
I Missed Skull Fist and I was very disappointed about that. I love this band!

Anyway, I discovered Steelwing tonight. They’re classic Heavy Metal from Sweden.
They have powerful riffs, fast drums, melodic shredding solos, and a singer that reaches high notes.

Oh, and their look is just too much kitsch. It’s not about the pants, it’s about the socks... Convience yourself with the picture to the left.

Musically, they have everything you need to get some classic metal stuff. Good old classic metal stuff.

And they’re good at what they do, I enjoyed their songs and their show.

Steelwing is a young band and I think they need some more experience on stage, but i think they're doing great and hopefully they have a bright future ahead.

Steelwing's influences are clear: You can count on some Judas Priest, some Helloween, some Ozzy and Accept.

Oh, and you don’t need to know the History of Heavy Metal to see Iron Maiden's influence: Guitar player Robby Rockbag looks very much like Adrian Smith in 1983.

Steelwing have released their second full lenght album, called Zone Of Alimentation.
Their setlist comprised mostly songs from their latest record, but we also had 3 tunes from their previous CD, Lord Of The Wasteland.

Well, sometimes their tunes sounded a bit outdated, but it's always good to discover a band that perpetrates the spirit of the early days of Heavy Metal.

It's thanks to this kind of bands, that the legacy and the original spirit of Metal carries on.

Now, things were about to get serious, as a hard rock discharge was coming with Bullet.
