Walking around Split is really pleasant. The city id full of history, ancient buildings and a unique atmosphere.
This is Trg Republike, or Republic Square in Split.
This is where we slept, the Le Méridien Lav Hotel. As I work in tourism I managed to find a discounted rate, and also this was a special occasion, Stéphanie and I were celebrating 3 years together!
We went back home with with two low cost carriers:
- German Wings to Stuttgart
- and HLX, now named
TUIfly
, from Stuttgart to Paris.
It's OK to take connecting flights with low cost airlines as soon as you have enough time, at least 3 hours, to check-in again and switch planes.
