Cannibal Corpse was the headliner of the main stage at Rock Al Parque Festival. Most of their show happened at the same time Symphony X was playing the second stage, so I didn't see the whole concert... but one thing is certain, this band is extremely BIG in Colombia!

Rock Al Parque Festival has always one day dedicated to Metal, and it's always the day that records the highest attendance.

Tonight, it was just impressive! It's like everyone at the fest had come to see Cannibal Corpse.
Officially, 47 000 people atended the fest this saturday.
This is enormous! It's more people than the Hellfest or Graspop Festivals, which are huge. But the most surprising thing, is that the headliner was not Iron Maiden or Metallica, but Cannibal Corpse!
I know this was one of the largest shows ever played by the band, and for sure it's the largest festival they've headlined in heir career.

Of course, that happens because the festival is free of charge, but it's clear that there's a huge amount of passionate metal fans in Colombia.
Everyone was into the show and fully enjoying this evening. Some were headbanging, some just watching, and many on the moshpit.
I counted 7 circle pits! I've never seen anything like that!

Death Metal might not my favourite style of music, but Cannibal Corpse delivered a really impressive show. 47 000 headbangers can't be wrong!

This opening day at Rock Al Parque 2013 was a day to remember for everyone. Fans attended some really good shows from local and international bands, and for sure the bands won't forget such an incredible crowd.

The next day I came back to Rock Al Parque for a dose of punk, with the legendary band Anti-Nowhere League, and Avantasia played an indoors show in Bogotá, and and the following day
